Clearly, there are certain features in Codeforces that seem to have access limits (opened for 2100+) that are not officially disclosed.

However, here is the list of features that only Div.1 people can use from my observation.

  1. Streams — div1 people can advertise their streaming.

  2. Uphack — div1 people can hack solution after system test.

  3. Problem tag — div1 people can edit problem tags and possibly determine problem rating.

  4. Catalog — div1 people can edit catalog.

  5. Vote — div1 people vote weighted more than other.

Feel free to share if there is anything not mentioned here; there are probably a lot more.

They can see the solutions of other participants in GYMs.

A slight adjustment, streams are only accessible to those who reached 2400 at least once, same with editing the catalog if I'm not mistaken.

I'm Div.2 user but I can also edit problem tags (in the few days after a contest) and view others' solutions in gyms.

Div.1 people vote weighted more than me, at the same time, my votes weighted more than Div.3/4 people.

Giving more power to high rated users is really a wise move. It not only prevents the abuse of power, avoids user dissatisfaction, but also promotes academic progress.

Everything here is actually officially disclosed. It's just that there is no "one page" that lists all of these privileges. Also, many things here have a higher rating bound than just being in Div. 1.

Some additional things are:

  • "Coach mode" in Gym which includes the ability to:
    • add contests to Gym (also possibly create mashups?)
    • read the solutions of others in Gym
    • edit contests in Gym (this is quite limited, but it's possible to change things like time limits of recent contests)
  • Creating groups
  • Proposing contests
  • "Trusting" other users, which gives them the ability to
    • write blog posts (unrated users can't do that)
    • create mashups
    • create private groups

      Streams: https://codeforces.me/blog/entry/83939

The opportunity to add streams to Codeforces is open to red participants and by individual invitations for now. We possibly open this opportunity to more users later.

      Uphacking: https://codeforces.me/blog/entry/68204

Now, after the end of almost any contest, participants from Div.1 have the opportunity to hack any solution in this contest during the week.

      Catalog: https://codeforces.me/blog/entry/98551

Any red user can enable directory editing.

      Voting: https://codeforces.me/blog/entry/3649

Also, as Codeforces is a professional community of those who is interested in sports programming, it was decided to consider the participants' professional achievements. Thus, the value of a participant's vote now is delapnds on the participant's authority and the authority is determined by the rating.

      etc etc. All official announcements.

I have no access to problem tags.

I can't uphack solutions in all contests I just randomly chose. Actually sometime in the past I could so it might be determined by something else.

The biggest problem is actually Coach Mode in gym. Luckily if a gym contest is kindof "private", then I have no access to it.

You can only edit problem tags for a while after the official contest has ended. How long that period is I have no idea.

I think, a threshold amount of contribution is needed for tag access. that shows the trust of other participants.
