My rating had increased 258 points after plag check !!!!!!

I remember before plag check, I had been 1460, Now I am at 1718.

update : Ratings are fixed and recalculated again, back specialist. I don't know why this blog got me read-only mode yesterday though.

I think that's because you had participated in no more than 5 contest, so the rating changes are rapid. Lucky you :)

can somebody tell me what is "plag check" and what has happened(I can't find this in recent actions......)? I found my rating has increased 6 or 7

    The system skips submissions of cheaters and people who plagiarised solutions.

    Anti-cheating system to disqualify or penalize cheaters. So basically, when cheaters are penalised or disqualified, Elo changes because your relative performance changes and that's why rating changes.

went to specialist before plag check but now my rating has dropped by 20 points:(

I had something similar to me (but much less change) — I was at 1524 and now I am 1599. I am a little thankful since I can get in one last Div. 3 (hopefully)!

    Yes, I noticed. Before yesterday's bug, had been at 1460 so I got a net +6. You're back to pupil too. GL!
