I wonder why codeforces don't send any notifications via email when one of contests where i registered in is about to start. i think this feature will be useful. It also can be applied on public / private contests.

There is a Codeforces channel on telegram which sends notifications for new contests and events here
I mean in private group's contests
Unfortunately, there is nothing for private contests, but you can use one of the programs to organize appointments such as ticktick, Google calendar it will help
