I'm glad that we now have each user's unofficial contests history. I want another thing similar to this: Can we have such standings table for each contest, too? Currently, there's an option called 'show unofficial', which includes virtual participants, and for some reason practice submissions as well which is not meaningful to be there at all.

I think participating in contest time and participating virtually are fundamentally different. We don't know what information virtual participants already got before starting virtual contest. Even if they didn't actually read the problems, they could have heard some concept or technique required for them — which would be considered as cheating if that was on contest time — but we don't consider them cheating for virtual participants, but they're treated the same as unofficial participants who solved them in contest time in unofficial standings table.

As someone who also hosted 3 rounds before, I like to look back at these rounds and recall memories of them. But I can't see the unofficial standings in the form it was at that time. It also feels not right to consistently 'lose' my unofficial rank in unrated(for me) contests' unofficial standings. I assume it's not hard to implement it as we already have it in personal history page, so I want to ask if we can have such feature soon.

Unrelated, but I'm sure we had links to personal place of contest standings on each user's contest history long ago, anyone knows why they're removed?

Yes
Yes
Yes
Definitely yes

I mentioned the same idea a couple of times already

I want to see "unofficial" participants but couldn't care less about "virtual participants", they pollute the standings

I hope it could be a toggle option. I understand and agree with what the post says. But, I also am benefitted by the feature to see how my friends performed during their VC in a given contest.

Yes, for sure we would need separate option for viewing virtual participants as well.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't it supposed to show me the list of contests that I gave virtually ??

for example I had participated in couple of div2 rounds virtually, but here in my unrated contest's list no such contest is showing up. Image

yeah, although it is already a feature in Educational and Div3 Rounds. We can toggle off "Show Unofficial" and we can view the participants from Div1 as well.

This feature would tremendously help me in judging the "true" problem rating of a problem before solving it as in problems of the past (and some present too), system test failures inflated ratings. Seeing how many participants failed at the time of the contest provides a better estimate.

I think only Educational rounds count. Expert and above are unofficial in Div. 3 rounds.
