I am writing this through my friend @alisha_shakir, because my Codeforces account @sam_allen has been disabled and I am currently unable to create a blog post from my own account.

@alisha_shakir is only helping me communicate this appeal. She has no involvement in my contest participation, submissions, or any activity related to my account.

I sincerely request you to please take a moment to manually review my account and the reason for its disablement.

My handle is @sam_allen, and I have been using this account for almost two years.

For me, this is not just an account that I used occasionally. This is the account where I have spent almost two years of my competitive programming journey.

I practiced problem after problem on this account. I learned from my wrong answers, TLEs, failed submissions, contests, rating changes, and countless hours of practice. My progress, my history, my solved problems, my contest experience, and the record of those two years are all connected to this account.

Seeing “The user is disabled” was honestly heartbreaking because it suddenly feels like a very large part of my journey has disappeared.

Recently, my contest submissions were marked Skipped, and my rating changed from 1527 (Specialist) to 1366 (Pupil). I understand that Codeforces has rules and that the administration has every right to enforce them. I completely respect that.

However, I currently do not understand what specifically caused my account to be disabled.

I am therefore not asking for special treatment. I am simply asking for a manual review and an explanation of what happened.

If there is a specific submission, contest activity, account activity, or rule violation that caused this action, please let me know. I am completely willing to cooperate, explain my submissions, provide any information required to verify ownership of the account, and follow whatever procedure Codeforces requires.

If this action was caused by a misunderstanding or an automated detection error, I sincerely request that my account be restored after review.

I have invested almost two years of my time into @sam_allen, and I genuinely don't want to lose that history without understanding what happened.

Codeforces has been a very important part of my learning and competitive programming journey. I know that an account may just look like a username and some submissions from the outside, but behind this account are two years of practice, mistakes, learning, improvement, and memories.

I respectfully ask the Codeforces administration to please look at my case once manually before making a final decision.
