VS Code Extension: Competitive Programming Graph Visualizer

If you do competitive programming, you know the friction of debugging graph algorithms. You are constantly switching contexts, drawing nodes on paper or copying edge lists into external websites just to see what your test cases actually look like. It completely breaks your flow. To my surprise, when I searched the VS Code Marketplace for a native tool to solve this, I couldn't find a single one with the features I wanted. So, I decided to build one.

What it does:

  • Instant Rendering: Paste standard N M edge lists, adjacency lists, or raw arrays.

  • Parsing: Detects and visualizes directed, undirected, weighted, and unweighted graphs.

  • Easy Use: The visualization renders in a native editor tab right beside your code.

There are definitely still some bugs and unhandled edge cases. I would absolutely love it if the community could try it out, help identify issues, and even contribute to fixing them.
