Inspired by CodingSloth's YouTube video on making the LeetCode Torture browser extension, we decided to run with the same idea & port it to our favourite CP platform — Codeforces!
Introducing Codeforces Torture!
This browser extension aims at encouraging (read: "forcing") programmers to practice & solve at least one problem on Codeforces every day. It fetches a random problem from the rating range provided by the user, & until at least one problem has been solved on Codeforces that day, any links other than those belonging to Codeforces' domain are blocked with a pop-up encouraging the user to get back on CF.
The idea is simple: if you want to browse the web, you must first solve a problem. It's a small but effective way to reduce distractions & build a daily habit of tackling CP problems.
We hope this will help people stay focused while training, improve consistency & fight procrastination.
