Ad1rs8.'s blog

Hello everyone, especially @MikeMirzayanov and the Codeforces administration.

My Codeforces account, @Ad1rs8, was disabled after I participated in WorldQuant Round 1 (Codeforces Round 1128, Div. 1 + Div. 2). I am writing this blog because I genuinely regret what happened and would like to request a review of my account.

During the contest, I used a code snippet from GitHub for one of the problems. At that moment, I didn't think enough about the consequences of doing so during a live contest. I understand that this was a mistake, and I take responsibility for my actions. I am not writing this to make excuses or blame anyone else.

Since then, I have realized that competitive programming is not just about solving problems or improving ratings. It is also about honesty, learning through your own efforts, and respecting the rules that make contests fair for everyone. I should have kept that in mind during the contest.

Codeforces has been an important part of my programming journey. I have spent many hours practicing problems, learning algorithms, and trying to improve myself. Losing access to my account is disappointing, but more than that, this experience has made me realize the importance of following contest rules carefully.

I sincerely apologize for my mistake. I respect the administration's decision and understand why maintaining fairness in contests is important. Still, I would be very grateful if my case could be reviewed and if there is any possibility of restoring my account, subject to the platform's rules.

I have learned from this experience, and I will make sure not to repeat this mistake in future contests. I want to continue learning and competing honestly, relying on my own understanding and hard work.

I know that an apology does not automatically undo what happened, but I wanted to acknowledge my mistake sincerely and ask for a second chance.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I would genuinely appreciate any consideration or guidance from the Codeforces administration.
