We recently did a virtual ICPC round solve on codeforces (this one)
I was trying to upsolve some of the problems and wanted to look at the code that other people submitted, but I didn't have permission to open them. Out of curiosity, I enabled my coach mode to see if I had permission to change the settings. It seems like the viewing of tests and other people's submissions is locked to:
If the contest is not private, you cannot set some of the fields, and they will be set to default values:
...
* do not show tests
* allow view submissions only to solvers
I'm wondering if this default policy can be changed. Specifically, allow viewing feedback on the test cases after the virtual is over, and allow spectators to view all submissions.
I don't think there are any major drawbacks to doing this, since this is the default practice for Codeforces problems (you can see tests when submitting in practice, and freely view other people's submissions), and it seems like orange+ users can switch themselves to manager mode and view submissions and test cases feedback anyway.
