Hello Codeforces Administration and @MikeMirzayanov,
I am writing this post regarding my Codeforces account @Ell, which was recently disabled. Since I am currently unable to access my account or submit an appeal from it, I am posting this from another account to contact the Codeforces administration.
What happened
Yesterday, while participating in a Codeforces contest, my primary PC started experiencing technical problems and was not working properly.
Because I wanted to continue participating in the contest, I switched from my PC to another laptop during the contest.
I believe that this change of device may have triggered an automated security or anti-cheating system and resulted in my account being disabled.
However, I want to clarify that I did not use any unauthorized assistance, external tools, or unfair means during the contest. The only reason I changed devices was because my primary PC was having technical issues.
My request
I completely understand and respect Codeforces' rules and the systems used to maintain fair contests.
However, I would sincerely request the Codeforces administration to manually review my account and the relevant contest activity, including my submissions and any available logs, before taking any permanent action.
If there was a specific activity or event that resulted in my account being flagged, I would appreciate it if the administration could review it manually and let me know what happened.
I am also willing to provide any additional information that may be required to verify that @Ell belongs to me and to clarify the circumstances of the contest.
I understand the importance of maintaining contest integrity, and my intention is simply to explain what happened and request that my case be reviewed based on the actual activity on my account.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for considering my request.
Codeforces Handle: @Ell Name: Gurkirat Singh
I would be very grateful if someone from the Codeforces administration could manually review my case.
