Hello Codeforces!

This weekend we held the SMU ICPC Selection Contest 2026, used to select Singapore Management University's team for the upcoming ICPC season.

The contest was designed a five-hour individual contest with estimated difficulty range from CF900 to CF2500. I hope that the set rewards strong fundamentals while still offering several challenging problems for more experienced participants.

All problems in the set were authored by me. To the best of my knowledge, they consist of original ideas.

I would like to thank:

• teekaytai for testing all problems and creating the gym

• Floating_Duck for testing the initial version of the problemset and told me which problems he did not like

• feeder1 for sitting beside me on the plane to Ho Chi Minh Regional that led to this collaboration

• tiongg for attempting a different ordering of the problems and realising the curve was too steep

I also would like to thank all of the invited participants from Singapore's Competitive Programming community that joined us for the online selection contest:
