Recently, I made Battle CP: https://battle-cp.vercel.app/ It's pretty much battleship meets competitive programming for more details just read the rules on the website. My friends, people in my college and I. Had a great time playing, and its a really fun way to practice, with your friends. We even held a tournament in our college which I would say was a success, thanks for the support of Coders' Club IIIT Kottayam in hosting this tournament and supporting in play testing + their own valuable feedback.
Here's a basic overview of them game:
1.Create or join a lobby and invite one friend. 2.Placement phase: each player places a fleet (standard 5 ships) on a 10×10 grid. 3.Combat phase: players take turns firing at coordinates to try and sink ships. 4.Heat mechanic: each shot increases your heat. When heat reaches the overheat threshold, your weapons lock. 5.Unlocking weapons: solve a Codeforces problem shown in the Problem Panel to instantly unlock weapons. 6.Vetoes: a small number of limited vetoes let you bypass a lock but you get punished by a time penalty, then receive a new problem. Win conditions: sink all opponent ships, If time runs out Ships sunk > Number of hits. If those are equal you enter sudden death (first hit wins) you can read up more on the rules on the website's homepage.
I've done my best to make the game fun, problem solving focused and super customizable. I'd love some feedback from the community and hope you guys have a great time playing it
