How to prevent cheating in public hacking competitions?

Revision en1, by NDAKJin, 2025-10-25 08:07:40

Most of the current Div1 and Div2 competitons use the mode of attacking other people's code during the game. This can indeed prevent some error codes, but it also creates new risks.

I have heard some rumors. Due to the similarity check after the competition, some people do not share their own code. Instead, they choose to lock their own code, click on the code passed by others in the room, and then share it.

I don't know the truth of these rumors, but I realize the risks of such behavior. So how do we deal with these cheating behaviors, whether it's this or the use of AI. This greatly affects the participants' confidence and experience in the codeforces competition.
