Hello Codeforces!↵

We ([user:SHZhang,2024-12-26], [user:antontrygubO_o,2024-12-26], [user:JohnVictor,2024-12-26], [user:codetiger927,2024-12-26], [user:duality,2024-12-26], [user:innocentkitten,2024-12-26], [user:79brue,2024-12-26], [user:popkarsd,2024-12-26], [user:flamestorm,2024-12-26], [user:GideonB,2024-12-26], [user:kingofpineapples,2024-12-26], [user:czhang2718,2024-12-26], [user:rqi,2024-12-26]), current students at MIT, are excited to announce the second iteration of the MIT Informatics Tournament, aka M(IT)^2!↵
↵
The contest, which is scheduled for **January 19th, 2025**, will be a full-day event with a hybrid format: an in-person competition at MIT, and an online division held at the same time. Participants form teams of up to three people. Participation is open to everyone, regardless of age!↵
↵
We will have a Beginner and an Advanced division. The Advanced division will consist of two 2.5 hour rounds with 5 problems each, while the Beginner division will be a single 2.5 hour round with 9 problems, held concurrently with the second Advanced round. See the [logistics](https://mitit.org/Logistics) page for more details, including the schedule, rules, and prizes.↵
↵
We expect a difficulty distribution roughly ranging from 700-1800 for Beginner and 1600-3000 for Advanced (CF rating). ↵
