MikeMirzayanov I would like to remove my data (if used at all, and I urge other programmers too), in training the AI competing in the next Div 2 round. I don't wish such kind of programs emulating human ingenuity in the hands of evil corporations or in the possession of such monstrous AI, or even in the hands of cheaters might use them to cheat. There is not one good reason for this thing to exist, let alone participate in such competitions. I don't want to participate as well in such competitions that might aid this AI. PLEASE STOP BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE. WHY DONT HUMANS LEARN EVEN AFTER DISASTER'S AS COVID. SOMEDAY THIS POST MIGHT BE THE REMEMBERED AS THE ONE THAT TRIED TO STOP ALL THIS MADNESS!
IT'S FINE THAT SOME PEOPLE WANT TO WITNESS THE WONDERS OF AI, BUT I DONT WANT MY CODE CAUSING MILLIONS OF JOB LOSSES SOMEDAY AND A LOT OF GRIEF FOR THOSE PEOPLE!
your data can only make AI dumber
as funny as it might seem, its actually true
And the answer is.... you yourself! Surprise!
You may want to read the terms & conditions in details here. It's not even that long, you can find the relevant sentence yourself.
Then, people should stop using this platform!
That is for them to decide, in my opinion. Just to clarify, I understand your concerns about your code being used to train AI that could potentially be used by cheaters. However, the same goes for how much people care about their data privacy. Some people value their privacy, while others simply don't.
And in this case, though I care about my privacy, I don't see why my solutions to competitive programming problems (whose code is my own and not owned by anyone else who has an issue with it being included elsewhere) should not be used to train an AI. IMO it's super interesting to see how much AI can progress in competitive programming, and I'm sure a lot of people think the same.
Yes, we should stop using any website that uses our data in some way!!!!!!!
I didn't know we have Karens on codeforces...
The software engineering community is gonna become extinct much sooner than we can expect. God knows what is in store for all of us
