I am more afraid of alts. What's stopping a Div 1 participant to create a new account and get the prize in Division 3.
Nothing, they are being motivated instead
Also it would make it more difficult for genuine div3 participant to reach div2, in turn encouraging more cheating.
Why would they go for 750 rs when they can get 1500 easily by remaining in DIV-1 and coming in top 100
But won't there be tougher competition in div 1.(everyone from 5 star to 7 star there)
Nah barely 130 people participate, one has got a better-expected value if one participates in Div-1(by div-1 I mean actually div-1 not those people who reached thereby cheating)
Sshhh making up for that loss is EZ.
A Div1 user just creates 2 Alts, both rank under 100 and you take your 1500.
Jeez, that's a lot of work for a mere 1500 lol
With the non existent plag check on codechef you can simply copy paste from one id to another.

nice steps to encourage people to learn coding but now pro(div 1) coders will easily make alt accounts and participate in div 3 contests.. and maybe more cheating will be happened for money -_-

very true, I've 2000 laddus in my account and the only sensible item in their goodies section was the bag and they've removed it now, the goodies section is full of stupid drones now.
