With school starting around the world, that means less time to participate in contests! The weekends are the best time for us students to participate and many times the time slots are left blank! Contest writers should consider moving contests to weekends where more people could participate and have fun! I could point to many contests where Sunday has a contest but Saturday doesn't or vice versa. Contest writers, if you see this, please consider moving contests to the weekends.
You spoke my mind.
We have a feature of virtual contests. But the problem is: It doesn't feel the same :(
It seems other platforms already mostly cover weekends — there is almost always an ABC, often an ARC or AGC, often an OpenCup and twice a month, LunchTime or CookOff. From that point of view it makes sense to hold CF contests on weekdays.
From another point of view it makes sense for other platforms to hold their contests on weekdays so that CF can hold contests on weekends.
Though it doen't make sense, it does make sense.
Even though it makes sense, it doesn't make sense.

If you can't stand the time, I think virtually participating is a good choice.
I participated in Japan every contest , So CF Round is usually start at 23:35 and end at 1:35 the next day... It is too late for my life .... ><
but all left is you and codeforces together with no one to disturb.cheers!!
Exactly, I can only wish to have that those times for contests :(.
