Invitation to CodeChef August Cook-Off 2020

We invite you to participate in CodeChef’s August Cook-Off, this Sunday, 23rd August, from 9:30 pm to 12:00 am IST. 2.5 hours, 5 problems.

Also, if you have some original and engaging problem ideas, and you’re interested in them being used in CodeChef's contests, you can share them here.

Joining us on the problem setting panel are:

Prizes:

Top 10 Indian and top 10 Global participants will receive CodeChef laddus, with which the winners can claim cool CodeChef goodies. Know more here.

    When CodeChef loads for the first time in my browser after 10 minutes, 250 participants have already submitted the problem A, so how this contest is fair for everyone. Some people face Internal server error and some participants able to see the problems.

Really it is very depressing or disappointing. Most of the times they go like DOWN. What is it? a server or Mariana Trench.

      Red-blue tree

      I meant div2D

      It was my first contest, so I was in div2 and haven't realized that a lot of cf div2 may be div1 in codechef

      In div2 there were 2500 successful submissions for k-foldable and only 50 for red-blue trees. Not really normal

      And if we include div1, there is 3000 vs 250, still quite a serious gap.

      Though after some considration I think it was not so terrible as I've drawn.

      Still, in terms of codeforces the difficulty was like 800, 800, 1300, 2200

Thanks for "Chefina and Dishes"! Very nice one! Sad I could not find pretty stupid bug in my solution during contest. Actually "Beautiful Subsequence" was cool too.
