What is a better approach solving one past codeforces round each day or to start solving problems in the order of most solved?

hello everyone, i needed ur advice regarding whether i should be practicing questions from past rounds or in the most solved order.Kindly give ur suggestions.I want to develop my programming skills.

I will suggest you to participate in 1 virtual contest daily, and then upsolve upto B or C. Keep doing it for a week and you will be cyan.

i will suggest you to start from contest 1 then contest 2 then 3...

read editorials of that contest

old contest has classical problems which give you basic ideas

it is my idea, of course there are many ideas better than my idea.
