Hi!
We are pleased to announce that in 2016 Russian Code Cup goes international! Problems will be available in two languages: Russian and English, everyone is welcome to participate!
Championship rules and time table will be announced next week, meanwhile we would like to invite you to take part in Warm Up round on Saturday, April 23, 18-00 Moscow Time (UTC+3). Register at http://russiancodecup.ru and participate!
Good luck and see you at Russian Code Cup 2016!
Is there going to Random IPad like last year :D ?
It took time for me to understand that the english website was available here : http://www.russiancodecup.ru/en/ (just put "en/" instead of "ru/" at the end).
Update : is there an english registration form ? :P
Great!
However that largely decreases rng_58's profits of learning Russian http://codeforces.me/blog/entry/148? :P
He will still grow lots of new neurons by learning Russian, so don't worry :). Cool performance in GCJ R1A btw, congratulations.
This maybe a silly question, but how am I suppose to fill in "Middle name" when I don't have one ?
Good point. Internationalisation is not the same as translation.
Fill with your handle in quotes!
Silly question, but ... will there be any adjustments to qualifying schemes / qualifying numbers (those 200-200-200 in qualifiers) / T-shirt counts given that potential participation numbers increase at least 10 times?
Good bye T-shirt.
Seems like the hardest part of participation is to register
Great! One more competition removed unnecessary restrictions and became more inclusive. Let's hope VK Cup follows this example at some point.
Technicaly speaking there were no restrictions, everyone could participate using Google translate
But this is good move for sure
Please, translate the Competition stages block image.
what is the reason for making the "Middle name" field compulsory during registration?
I don't have one, so what should I write?
According to russian tradition, you should write your father's name:)
With an appropriate suffix. The rules for choosing an appropriate suffix are too long to list here, but you can't go wrong with "-ovich": it'll either be correct or hilarious.
RussianCodeCup.ru:
And MSC here stands for?
Let me guess: Moscow Standard Clock.
Marat Snowbear Clock
Do we have to participate in the warm up round in order to go further in other rounds? Are the contestants who are younger than 18 able to get T-shirts?
no, it's just a testing round.
BTW it is not enough to just register on http://www.russiancodecup.ru/. Go to your profile page http://www.russiancodecup.ru/en/personal/profile/ and press the button "Yes I'm in".
Thank you!
