I know that this is not the first choice website for machine learning related information, but for those of you who would like to get into ML and big data I would like to recommend the following free workshops in San Francisco late August.
DeepSense.io is proud to offer free donation-class based machine learning and Spark entry-level workshops in San Francisco. Tune your professional expertise and kickstart your journey with big data. Sign up today here.
Do you know if we get to choose the dates?
I took the test, but there was no place to choose that in the form.
I will ask and let you know soon.
I was told that next week you will be informed about the exact dates.
Great, thank you.
I think it is not hard to conclude that people can have strong date preferences, so I hope we won't be arbitrarily assigned to one date and simply informed about that. For example 27-28 August are weekdays when I have to be in work, only 29-30 is suitable for me (and I guess that is very similar for majority of people)
They sent a form where you could choose the date you preferred, I guess they won't be assigning you the other if you didn't choose it.
Yes, I received it today :).
Why scientists will get higher average salary than programmers ?
Because scientist know how to science and programmars can only program?
What languages are allowed? Is it only python? Can we use C++?
I think C++ will not be suitable because of lack of appropriate libraries. Python is probably not a must, R might be an alternative.
I wish there were such workshops in the city where I study :(
Is there anyone who got a reply from them? They wrote they will let know about their decision by 10th of August, however I haven't gotten any email yet.
I've got an reply on Aug 5.
just got mine rejection. :( is here anyone accepted?
Sorry to hear that :( I'm selected for the workshop
Cool. Congratulations! Wish you to enjoy it. ;)
Thanks! :)
I also got rejected ; d. Firstly CodiLime invites me to their internal Christmas Eve and then rejects from free workshop : D
I assume they did not want to cover reallocation. :)
It wouldn't be expensive since I currently reside in Bay Area :P
