The Harker Programming Club is excited to invite any female-identifying students to participate in our annual Girls Programming League Challenge!

The GPL Challenge is a half-day, virtual event comprising a programming contest, panel discussion, and awards. This year, the theme of our contest will be CS & K-pop. The contest will take place on Saturday, September 26, 9:00 AM — 1:00 PM PST. Teams can consist of 1-3 members, and the top 3 pre-college teams in each division will receive awards. There will be two divisions: novice and advanced, so students with any level of skill can participate.

The details of the event are listed below:

• Participants: Female-identifying students, in teams of up to 3
• Location: Virtual (Zoom); the contest will be held on Codeforces.

How difficult are the problems?

We think novice division ranges from CF ratings 800 to 1700. Advanced division ranges from 800 to 2100 rating.

Can I use pre-written code?

Unless we specify otherwise in an new announcement, pre-written code (aka templates) is allowed.

Can I access the internet freely?

You can only access internet resources written before the contest's start time. For example, this means that any content that was AI-generated during the contest is strictly prohibited. Don't even consider it.
