Good Person Finding

Hi everyone!

I'm Priya Ranjan Kumar, a Newbie on Codeforces, and I'm looking for guidance in competitive programming.

I genuinely enjoy CP and have the motivation to improve, but I feel that I'm missing the right direction. If anyone is willing to mentor me, guide me, or simply share advice, I would be truly grateful.

My strengths

  1. I stay consistent. As you can see from my profile, I solve at least 1–2 problems every day.
  2. I'm always eager to learn and improve.
  3. I had never cheated in any contest and always wanted to earn my progress honestly.

My weaknesses

  1. I sometimes lose confidence when a series of contests goes badly.
  2. I get frustrated when my rating keeps dropping despite putting in consistent effort.

My current goal is to become a Pupil and continue improving one step at a time. Any suggestions on practice strategy, contest approach, or problem-solving mindset would mean a lot to me.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I appreciate any guidance or support from the community.

**Thanks for your time! **

  1. don't use ai. even in practice.

  2. solve problems slightly above your skill level. improvement doesn't come from solving easy problems

  3. don't open editorials too soon. try the problem for some time first.

  4. there are no real roadmaps or optimal topics to study at any given level. you'll need to learn it all eventually so don't stress about learning things in a different order (unless there are obvious prerequisites)
