Lately, it feels like we are all talking about the exact same problem: the massive increase in cheaters. During a contest, it is incredibly easy to glance at the standings, see hundreds of people solving a complex problem in three minutes, and immediately start doubting your own abilities. The rating inflation and the constant comparison can turn a fun, challenging platform into a massive source of anxiety. You start coding for the number next to your name instead of the actual joy of learning.
I wanted to fix this for myself, so I built ZenForces. ZenForces is an extension that transforms Codeforces into a peaceful, distraction-free environment. It hides the rating so you can focus entirely on your own deliberate practice and self-improvement by:
Neutral Usernames: Strips all rank colors and bolding from usernames globally.
Hidden Standings: Completely removes the standings tabs, rating change tables, and the number of participants who solved a specific problem during contests.
Rating Graph removed: Actively blocks and completely hides the profile rating graph so you aren't staring at your past peaks and drops.
Gym Zen Toggle: A button injected directly into the Codeforces top menu bar. It allows you to toggle standings ON or OFF specifically during practice Gyms, because reviewing other people's submissions and standings is a good part of CPC practice

Edit: The extension is pretty robust and covered a lot of ways to prevent you from seeing your rating. One way you can add is maybe removing the rating standings element from all https://codeforces.me/ratings/* URLS, as you can technically look up your rating from here. But it is sort of convoluted, so maybe its not worth the effort.

My friend told me about it, but if someone want to see the standings so bad that he is ready to open the URL even if I handled it I think he would just turn off the extension

Avoidance coping
True, but for me it's productive avoidance. If hiding the cheaters and leaderboards stops the self-doubt and keeps me practicing consistently, it leads to a better rating in the long run anyway. Protecting the grind!
You can try checking the community standings. They are usually much more clear than the official standings.
I think that some visibility of standings is useful, for example it can happen that F < E, or especially often with the subtasks F1 < E, E < D2. And the number of people who solved the problem can show that you need to jump to the next task. If you could make it so that only the relative difficulties are shown, that would be great!

Why would you participate with no ratings or at least standings
Because staring at solve counts mid-div and judging the problem based on what others are doing is a massive waste of time. The goal is to completely kill the comparison game. By hiding all of that, I can just put my head down and solve. I'll check the rating again down the line once this pure training pays off.
