Competitive-For-Life's blog

Hi everyone,

P.S. This is my alt account. I'm making my first-ever Codeforces blog here, so apologies in advance if I make any mistakes with the post.

I'm interested in becoming a tester for Codeforces contests.

I have been solving competitive programming problems consistently, and I'd like to contribute to the community by helping test contests before they are published.

Could anyone share the usual process for becoming a tester?

  • Is there an application process?
  • Do I need to know problem setters or coordinators personally?
  • Are there any requirements or recommended rating levels?
  • Any advice for someone who wants to get started?

I'd appreciate any guidance or personal experiences.

Thanks in advance!

You just need 5 words: Become a friend of an author. Wait, it's 6 words.
