Introducing GRAYtist, a browser extension that helps you filter out low-quality content from Codeforces.
You might say: "B-b-but DNR, such a tool would surely spam some API calls or use some heavyweight classifier models! My potato PC couldn't handle it, right?!".
Wrong. We instead use the principle of ratism ($$$P(\text{low rating} \iff \text{low quality}) \approx 1$$$) to optimize away all of that nonsense.
Features
1. Filter blogs by author rank and title.
- Don't want to see blogs from grays because they're annoying, and blogs from nutellas because they make you feel inferior? GRAYtist allows you to filter blogs for any combination of author ranks.
- Tired of seeing the 1e9-th blog about cheaters? GRAYtist supports filtering blogs by keywords in the title (regex and substring-matching are supported too).
- Filtered blogs are moved to a disjoint "Filtered recent actions" below the original component.
2. Filter comments by author rank
- Consider this: You're going through an editorial for a div-1+2 round and looking for thoughtful discussion on F, but 95% of the comments are grays/greens expounding on the intricacies of the 800-rated B. GRAYtist lets you filter any combination of author ranks.
- Filtered comments are automatically minimised (using Codeforces's native "hide" option) when you navigate to a blog.
3. Filter standings by participant rank
- Tired of being greeted by the sight of 100 grays (definitely not using AI) above you whenever you open the standings during a round? GRAYtist lets you filter standings by rank.
- Choose a set of filtered ranks (for instance: unrated, grey, green), and they get moved to a disjoint "Filtered standings" below the original component.
4. Whitelisting
- To avoid accidentally filtering content by users like atcoder_official, ICPCNews, etc., GRAYtist has a global whitelist. Content from any user in this whitelist will not be filtered out, no matter what.
- I've added a few users to this whitelist by default.

Finally, something that automates what Codeforces users have been doing manually since 2012: opening a blog, seeing a gray username, and instantly developing selective blindness.

Not gonna lie, I love this extension. I still hate ratists.
Also, maybe you can add blacklist feature, because there are users that have high rating but low reputation.

There's an error with carrot "TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'textcontent')" when we use the separated standings. This only happens when its turned on when entering the page, if we first enter the page and carrot loads, and then we turn it on there seems to be no issue.
will fix it tomorrow, i haven't really tested it for compatibility with other popular extensions yet
As a fellow proud ratist myself, I wanted to say how grateful I am for this amazing extension you have created and say how it has changed my life for the better.

no joke this actually might be useful for catching cheaters during contests (by adding a separate tab for the low rated users that are in suspiciously high places). Might be nice to add an option to allow a JSON file of "blacklisted" users as well (so I could add, say, the json from the cheaterdb and have them removed from appearing in my main standings along with having a separate tab to view them if needed).

bro, why do you hate us all? In time we will improve and reach your level, some of the gray/green blogs are actually useful and looks like GomerDoGo is very happy right now! and DNR, it could be useful for people like you (Masters), but we all are still learning, so let us learn!
Totally unrelated, but I just thought of a new feature to add: block notifications when you're tagged in comments/blogs by users of certain ranks!

Hating \ne Killing. Be grateful. What doesn't kill — make stronger. <small) though i've seen injured people been given an advice not to have high expectations. I must be strong by now as HELL. ig we "subhumans" have no other given by God mechanism of reminding about our redundant existence but to vomit on the shining columns of white houses. Maybe they'll calculate that it is CHEAPER to be polite to us. In the end, who will be fighting wars -- US or THEM? for them!

You should add a blacklist and make the blacklists and whitelists be able to be changed by rating (ex. Headquarters never get affected by any feature, DNR is always filtered)
