Hello, Codeforces! 👋
We’re Nebius.

You might remember our Welcome Round a few years ago, and we're back with another round! We invite you to take part in our Second round on Codeforces: Nebius Round 2 (Codeforces Round 1088, Div. 1 + Div. 2). Join us on Mar/28/2026 17:45 (Moscow time) and test your skills by solving problems!
In the meantime, we want to share something big.
We’re launching our first Early Talent Program for students and recent grads.
Quick intro. I used to coordinate Codeforces rounds back in 2014–2015, did IOI/ICPC, and was pretty active here in the 2010s. Now I’m a Director of Engineering at Nebius, working on our new agentic search direction. As a former intern of similar program, I’d be really happy to see more CF folks join us.
This is not a “watch and learn” internship. You’ll be working on real systems such as AI infrastructure, cloud, product, and AI RnD, shipping things, and having actual ownership.

Wait, Zlobober!? That "guy in red clothes looking up towards the camera who's quite strong and also active in comments" Zlobober from good old times!? We don't really know each other but it's a pleasant surprise to see you again in such a long time.
Is remote explicitly allowed?
yes for AI researcher and AI/ML Specialist Solution Architect roles
Even after all these years, Zlobober is still my idol
Can your AI system solve problems like D Div2 during the contest?
Some of Nebius customers claim that their AI solves even harder problems :) Nebius does not have its own AI though, but rather provides an infrastructure for other companies (like Cursor, for example) to develop and run AI models and agents.
Brother, is it ever possible to get a world version? Like, you know participating from India?
For now, only locations from the post are available. These correspond to the locations where Nebius has offices or data centers. But feel free to check the openings next year — maybe there will be more geography next time.
The recruitment will be totally based on the candidate's profile or will there also be the role of this particular contest for the recruitment ?
This contest does not play a role in the hiring decision. Recruitment will be based entirely on the candidate’s overall profile.
Yes that's good decision otherwise you would get some newbie rated interns as well :)
Hope to don't lose my expert, please.....
as someone who AKed last contest in 5 minutes, I think it's too easy for me, and to prove it to the world, I'm gonna be solving problems using ML based approaches, expected time to AK: 15 minutes, and yet I need to email mike to update my rating from previous round, because there is a bug, because of which system update rating only for >=1 placed participant's, and I got 0th
what about first year students:(
For first-year students, this is actually the best time to focus on studying and building a strong foundation. You don’t need to rush into internships yet, they will come naturally in later years :)
Do you sponsor visas for international students for the internship program?
Unfortunately, we’re not sponsoring visas for this program this year
Plz do for upcoming internships
Instead of taking several months, you took 3 years, care to explain?
Can I watch and learn as a 9th grade student;))
I would like to clarify that I have not engaged in any form of cheating or intentional collaboration during the contest 2211B, specifically for my solution 368543414, which has been reported to coincide with the submission of M_mohan (368576305). My solution was entirely my own work, developed independently based on my understanding of the problem and standard algorithmic approaches. I believe the similarity may be purely coincidental, as it is possible for different participants to arrive at similar logic or implementations for such problems. I have not shared my code with anyone, nor have I accessed others’ solutions during the contest. I strictly followed all contest rules and guidelines. I kindly request you to review my submission again, as this resemblance appears to be unintentional and not a result of any rule violation.
