me, and many other pupils are able to solve div2C, and with reasonable speed (i vary, and i will admit when i go fast it is a decently high placement, like top 2k, but that doesnt invalidate my question) but still struggle to even get out of low-mid pupil preformances. im just wondering if this has always been the standard or is because codeforces has gotten more competitive. the jump from div2c to div2d is decently big, at least algorithmically, so for solving a-c every contest to end up in pupil can be demotivating if i didnt enjoy solving regardless.
it is much harder nowadays, I remember 3-4 years ago, solving 800 and 900 slow from a contest was enough to reach 1200(maybe a little below like 1140)

No actuallly..In 2023-24, solving div 2 A-C would give plus delta as a pupil and would make you a specialist if you solve fast.
