I happened to notice that an asterisk (*) has appeared next to my name. This started after I tested my code on an online compiler. I also went through other Codeforces blogs, but I am still unsure how to determine who copied my code. Could someone please explain how this can be identified?

The * just means you're an unofficial participant (Since your rating must be <1600 to officially participate in div 3)
If a submission is flagged for cheating the verdict will be "Skipped". In any case, if the code in the online compiler you use is public you shouldn't use it during contests
