Cubber's blog

Dear MikeMirzayanov,

I recently found that there were too many users with black name submitting too many submissions, which get WA or TLE on 1. Through their behaviour and code style, I bet they are AI. They took up pages of the status list and made it hard for me to overview, find or read others' submissions. Anyway, they are annoying.

Could you please solve it. I suggest adding an option to hide the submissions from black named users in the Status Filter part.

Upvoted, these AI accounts are disgusting, this option is needed.

I think we think friends differently. I consider friends as ones who I know in real life. And I don't think more friends can cover all problems I need.

waaat, it's not a social platform to only add who u know in real life, friends here means someone to check his submissions jiangly and learn from or his rate changes after a contest or how's doing in a running contest.

Do you think I can't have my own opinion of 'friend'? And do your words help solving that AI troubles us everyday? Or you even think AI accounts are worth pity?

            Please keep in topic

I think your advice are not worth taking until you solve questions yourself. You only participated in no contests and solved one question twice with your two accounts!

Upvoted. Even in contests, I see a lot of candidates with black usernames solving 4,5 problems. When I check their acc out, they're just created 4-5 hours ago or some like 10-12 days ago. This really holds out genuine users rank down. I know there's probably no other way to filter them out, but if there is, it would really change the whole scenario.

Like someone in the comments mentioned people solving 4-5 problems after some hours of account creatioin. Hence someone who just recently created an account must not be able to participate in contests unless he has some activity on this platform for some time.

To be honest, I'm from China, and the only reason I don't compete in contests is because most of them start at 22:35 p.m. I'm only a 5th grade student, so I can't stay up that late. This account has been used for training so far, and no "illegal" activities. It is annoying that it takes about three years for my submissions to be judged, due to a bunch of AI accounts.

Hiding your submissions from others wouldn't change anything about this

Yeah, but I think we could go to a deeper level. Like if somebody has been submitting problems for the entire day with no break, and their code style is constantly changing, codeforces might ban this user or stop judging the submissions
