Hello!
I would really like to have a mentor who can help me train and create a training plan. If you know of any free courses or if you can teach me for free yourself — I would be very grateful. Unfortunately, I’m limited financially and won’t be able to pay. I’d be very thankful if you could help (even advice would help)!
What am I preparing for? I’m a school student, so I’m preparing for the IOI. I really want to win a medal.
Thank you!

You are very strong! You must be proud that you can have a chance to IOI!
Though I am much weaker than you, but I think you can do some recent problems of IOI or other international matches. These problems can let you understand the structure of most IOI problems.
I tried to virtually participate in IOI2025 Day 1 and found that getting 170+ wasn't too hard. You can practice problems around *2500 in CodeForces to improve your ad-hoc and thinking skills. I did some *2500 problems and thought that they are just suitable for intermediate contestants (like me).
Hope you can get a good score in IOI!
How are you weaker than me? You can solve problems up to E in Div. 2 contests! Yes, I’ve virtually participated in some COCI contests and also tried solving USACO Gold problems. I'm trying to participate in every Codeforces/Atcoder/CodeChef contest (though I don’t always upsolve carefully).
I don’t remember how many points I got on Day 1, but I’m pretty sure I received an honorable mention (virtually). Isn’t *2500 quite high for me? For now, I think upsolving all Div. 2 problems is really helpful — at least reading through them.
Thanks, thanks, and thanks again! Hope to see you!
Thanks for your reply!
Actually, I am sad because I don't have the ability to be your mentor (because I am too weak).
However, I can give you some more advice.
If you think that *2500 problems are too challenging for you, you can try to solve div.2 D~E. For Problem F, you can think for a while first and then look at the tutorial (this is my way of training on CodeForces). ^O^
Just personally speaking, I seldom virtually participate on CF. (It is a great function though, but I don't actually have time) Maybe the archive is more suitable if we want to get more THINKING instead of paying more attention on SPEED.
Also, you should be confident! You are already 100% stronger than me because you can stand on the stage of IOI. However, I can't even think of that (it is impossible for me) xD
Hi i saw that you are improving fast on Codeforces, but you haven’t solved that many problems. How did you do it?
Because sometimes I encounter cloudflare issues, I sometimes upsolve problems using other methods (such as submitting using the vjudge bot). Thanks for asking!
Maybe solving greedy and interactive problems can be helpful. Constructive algorithms are also commonly seen.
I am also in the path of IOI. (Very lower rated than you guys). I want to at least reach training camp. I have like 3 months for National Olympiad of my country. There is not much competition here. Which resources can I use. My weakness is Graph theory.

It would also help me. I’m on the same path as you.
