Why are there no weekend contests nowadays? I remember there being contests almost every weekend even during non summer months, and I cant take weekday contests because of school :(

bro honestly i feel you. one time i had to skip 5th period to take a cf contest and i did so poorly. i think when contests are on the weekends general performance is much better than that on weekdays. furthermore, ive had to take contests in class!! my chill english though looked at my screen and just said, "stay on task". i was so embarrassed but i still continued the contest. anyways, i agree that weekend contests are always better than weekday and codeforces should time them accordingly!
crazy how not a single div 2 in the next 2 weeks is on a weekend, and there are 3 on the weekdays
