Just practice 900-1200 rated problems without checking tutorials. It will take time, but stay patient. Keep going and you'll reach Pupil

It doesn’t matter which programming language you use right now focus on understanding problem statements and finding solutions. Use whichever language you know best. Language differences only start to matter for problems rated above 1400 so for now any language will do.

Ultimately, C++ is the fastest and most widely used in competitive programming, but it’s harder to learn than Python. If you’re just starting out, I recommend Python.

Try to slove Div. 3 A-C or Div. 2 A-B, and you will find the similarities between them.

I have three simple tips:

1) Participate in rounds more often.

2) For a practice use ThemeCP ( https://codeforces.me/blog/entry/136704 )

3) Don't forget about upsolving!

I noticed that you are new, so I recommend practicing problems in the range of 800-1200. Also, try math and implementation problems, those will give you a good boost. In addition, don't forget to participate in contests, and why not try virtual contests in A-B-C Div3 It's a good start, and I hope I have helped you.

The main idea is don't think too much about your rating,it will come without you even noticing.

I recommend solving problems in order of increasing difficulty. Start with 800-rating problems and work on them until you can solve them easily. Then move on to 1000-rating problems, and so on—adding 200 to the rating each time. This is the best way to get better at competitive programming.

I also recommend the CSES problem set: there are 300 problems that help a lot, but they’re best done once you reach a rating of 1000 or higher.

Good luck!

Alex12GOAT To learn algorithms check out the ITMO AcademyLink: Pilot Course in the EDU tab. It has good video explanations of basic algorithms and practice problems to help you learn how to use each one

you’ll find : Suffix Array Segment Tree Binary Search Disjoint Sets Union Two Pointers Method

Use PyPy3 rather than Python3, it is a lot more faster, and solve more problems, gradually you will learn stuff that needs to be done while using Python.
