I was solving a 1400 rated problem today (it wasn't going very well, I didn't solve it). This was the only problem on codeforces I attempted today. My computer behaved strangely, so the only way to check my solutions was to submit my code. I submitted the problems many times, but it always had a runtime error or TLE. I didn't solve the problem and yet, I gained my streak! I always thought that your streak only increases if you solve a problem and judging by the really light green color of the square, this is probably intentional. Does anyone know how many times you need to submit for this to happen? I am wondering purely out of curiosity.

I guess even one will do... but is there any point in making such streak?

There isn't. I do mean to solve a problem anyway, but I was curious because it happened to me.
