What is the future of Competitive programming in deepseek era? Deepseek has solved 1700,1800,1900 and 2000 rating problem today ! I have become so surprised to see that! Is that time has come ?

deepseek went on an infinite loop trying to solve div2A. I think any form of llm will remain good at solving standard questions for a very long time.

I only got -50 points in my first round on CF.

(I've tried to use some AI tools to cheat in my programming class,but they can not do a quite good job)

probably not a real threat, it is only able to solve very standard problems as of now. idk i can be wrong, but every month, there is a new technology and then, ppl go crazy and then ppl realize it is not that crazy and the cycle repeats itself. Guess we will see how good it is in the upcoming contests, I am praying to get a good rank in Round 1002 and reach pupil. hopefully, i don't get cooked by cheaters.

      Thanks bro! I already knew data structure and algorithms in C++ and I was practising on leetcode for a while now. So, i am already decent at contests and i can solve top 3 questions consistently. I started CP this month itself, but if i were to give some helpful tips, i would recommend you to do a variety of question which require different strategies. and note down the patterns, u encounter along the way.
