what is the percentage(less than or equal to) of problem solved of a specific rating by my own to realise that i should still practice this particular rating or rating range and not go for higher rating problems yet.

I think there's not any fixed number of problems of a particular rating. If you're comfortable with a specific rating x for a considerable number of problems practiced, then you may move to x + 100 or x + 200 rating. Someone might get confident on a rating x with 50 problems, but someone might need 60-70 problems as well. It depends on individual and his/her practice and consistency.

I solved 100 1500 rated to get confident that I could tackle random one. I recommend you to take a look to c2-ladders and solve 50 problems from 1400-1500 rating range.
