Good day to the CodeForces community
We are organizing a 7-14 day competitive programming camp and are looking for an experienced coach to lead it. Here’s what we’re looking for:
Camp Details:
- Duration: 7-14 days
- Focus: Problem-solving oriented (minimal lectures, maximum practice)
- Students level: Expert(1600)-Candidate master(2100)
- Activities: Daily contests with carefully curated, interesting problems and detailed editorials to follow.
- Timeline: The camp should start soon (before 1st of December).
Coach Requirements:
- Proven experience in competitive programming (iron grasp of algorithms, data structures, problem-solving).
- Ability to create or curate high-quality contest problems.
- Skilled at providing clear, concise, and insightful editorials.
- Prior coaching or teaching experience is a plus.
If you’re interested or know someone who might be a good fit, please reach out with your availability and rates.
UPD: There is a limit on number of conversations per day on codeforces. So it is taking me a long time to respond to everyone.
what is the mode(online / offline) of this camp ?
online, due to the tight timeline
can i join this camp ? if yes, then, How and how much is the fees for the camp ?
Thanks in Advance!
it depends if coach will speak english or not
Curious: how much would you be willing to pay?
if its minimal lectures and maximum practice, I would pay 10$.
I'm now interested if "minimal lectures and maximum practice" a good or bad thing according to you
for me, with maximum practice I can improve my thinking process much more than watching lectures with minimal practice
So you would pay even less than 10$ for 7 days of lectures?
since I value practicing more than watching, yes
however, exceptions can be made, it mostly depends on who will give the lectures
the only reason ever i would pay umnik san is if im interviewing him, ill pay good.
Can you dm me your rates please for future reference? Maybe someday we'll able to offer you an interesting deal
Till now, I haven't spent any money on learning competitive programming, I have been learning myself. I just want to experience the camp and I am also curious if It can made improvements in my skills. So, that's is why I am not willing to pay much but if it upto 150 dollars, I may try to participate.
Thanks for the answer!
Can you teach me how to win a div.1 round with some 1E+ difficulty ad-hoc problems? I'm willing to pay $200/hour or even more.
When is IZhO
IZhO is in January. But we need a coach before 1sr of December
When will it be officially announced ;(?
I also need an official announcement :(
By looking at the title I thought, why would a GM need a coach??
Is izho prestigious?
It is prestigious in Kazakhstan
You can flex with "I have gold at an international olympiad"
