I urge everyone to refrain from discussing cheaters and alternate accounts, and instead focus on creating meaningful and constructive blogs. Such discussions are not conducive to our community's atmosphere. For examples this blog-
Blog
It's comments-
It's a humble request to everyone, instead of exposing others or focusing on cheaters, we should trying focusing on self-improvement.
Thanks!
+1, but let's note that if users like Heap_OverFlow wont stop posting such useless blogs, blogs exposing these kinds of users will persist. Thus, the only viable long-term solution is to stop people from posting blogs about cheaters.
Exactly so cheaters can share codes so shamelessly and spread cheating in community :) Look 2nd half of this. Doesn't MikeMirzayanov define this as cheating?
Even Mina himself had a comment for an expose before
you (heap and your infinite alts) have reached a level of annoyance that had to be stopped
You're not actually doing anything about it. You're throwing a big hissy fit about accusing the same guy (Madboly) over and over again, except you're not targeting any of the hundreds of other cheaters, or the Telegram channels, or the Youtube livestreams or anything.
I wouldn't say that such blogs/comments only target one person. Heap had reported Khaled_Kamal_ of cheating before he actually got skipped. Link to the comment: https://codeforces.me/blog/entry/127504#comment-1136430
Fair enough. It's still a tiny drop of water in the ocean of cheaters though, if you want to actually do something it would be best to try to take down the Telegram channels and Youtube livestreams.
Nah, keep them coming. I love the drama. Then codeforces blogs will become a joke . Their will be 9999th blog about one "Unnone" cheater/exposing.
Seriously Sir, we should stop writing such blogs. After every contest there are 4 or 5 blogs about "CHEATERS CAUGHT!!!", "MASS EXPOSE!!!". Do you even understand the extend of this problem Sir? There are so many Cheater/Exposer. Catching one cheater/Exposer has no impact Sir.
Well, I was joking (as evidenced by the strikethrough).
Yeah Me too I love it when the recent action that was supposed to be a source for useful(or new) blogs is filled with unhelping bullshit about some dumbass ppl wasting their life<s> This is a strikethrough. </s>This is a strikethrough.but I agree that they should keep coming
Codeforces should implement a feature allowing users to block others, ensuring I never encounter certain blogs again.
Codeforces users try to use the site as intended challenge (99% fail)
Unpopular opinion: this isn't irritating. this is fun. good job everyone involved!
Better add the strikethrough fast 💀
Tired of seeing this kind of blog.
