How is the idea to take a break from codeforces and learn dsa only, for 1-2 months?? Will this help??

"will this help?" help in what exactly? I will assume you are burned out.

I did this before and let me tell you this will cause a very big performance drop, if you feel burnout try other ways like day on day off, 3 days/week, less hours of training etc...

if you really need to completely stop training, know that when you are back you won't be at the same level you were and its normal.

It won't help brother. If you were at high pupil, then there might be a 20% chance that it would help. Since, you have not even touched green yet then you don't need any DSA (binary search, bfs-dfs only recommended).
General problem solving techniques, and thinking clearly is what you need to work on. Standard DSA style problems are going to be an inferior or less efficient training for this aspect.
Characteristics of Optimal solution.
Read the above blog. This is an example of the kind of skills/thinking-patterns you need to learn. This is where the most bang for the buck is.
Not that DSA is harmful or anything but it won't give you the carry-over you are hoping for. And about taking a break, as YukidarumaMello said, don't stop training for too long.
