ICPC North American Championships Livestream
Good morning! The North American Championship is happening this weekend in Orlando Florida, hosted by the University of Central Florida. The best ICPC teams from North America will be competing to qualify for the ICPC World Finals. Although ICPC won’t be producing a stream themselves, I’ll be creating an in-person stream. Featured guests:
- ecnerwala Andrew He, LGM and ICPC Gold Medalist
- Bill Poucher, ICPC Executive Director
- Dean Michael Georgiopoulos, UCF Dean of Computer Science
- TankEngineer Haobin Ni, IGM and ICPC Gold Medalist
- rpeng Richard Peng, Georgia Tech and North American Programming Camp Coach
- wphsucf Arup Guha UCF Coach
- Friggstad Zach Friggstad U Alberta and North American Programming Camp Coach
- Possibly some ICPC Judges, if permitting
The stream will start at 9:45 Florida time Monday, May 30th, or at this time for you.
We hope to see you there! If you know any of the teams or competitors and have interesting fun facts, you can submit them in this google form.
Thanks everyone for participating. Link to the stream
Don't forget to ask Bill why ACPC is so corrupted.
I'll be respectful to our guest speakers and focus on the North American regions, as this stream is about the North American Championship.
pussy
I bet he's crying now.
ARGGHHHH I thought I finally found a website without vulgarity. Why, Um_nik :(
I am wondering why does the puffy pig is saying this.
Wait so we won’t have an official stream of contestants’ reaction?
Correct, there won't be an official stream.
Will there be live submission data? (i.e. being able to view the progress/status of submissions like in official streams)
I'm not involved with the stream, but the scoreboard will be public (see nac22.kattis.com), so the stream will be able to follow the scoreboard (though I'm not sure if they'll have access to the progress bars or to view whether submissions were WA/TLE/RTE/etc the way that official streams do).
Believe it or not, probably.
BTW, will there be a mirror contest of NAC this time?
exciting!
Scoreboard reveal and closing ceremony starting soon (it's scheduled for now, but hasn't yet started)
JK it's at 6:00, my bad
