Extension for older problems.

Hello everyone... I recently published a Chrome extension that helps with input & output mapping for older problems. The idea came from an issue I faced while practising on CF, so I thought of building something to make this thing a little easier...

1. While solving older problems

When I started practising on CF, I followed the famous CP 31 sheet, which contains problems from different difficulty levels, including some older problems. While solving some of those problems, the example test cases weren't numbered as #1... #2... and so on, like newer problems. When there were multiple test cases in a large input block, it sometimes became confusing to figure out where one test case ended and the next one started. So I thought it would be helpful to have something that could highlight each test case separately and show its number, just like CF does with sample test cases in newer problems. This can also help beginners who are just starting with Codeforces and solving older problems, whether through CP31 or other practice sheets...

2.

After getting a WA, people might find it difficult to find failing test case among a huge number of test cases. This extension can help you find the particular case more quickly by simply hovering over it...

However, debugging is a vital part of the CP journey, so I'd suggest trying to find the failing test case on your own first. If you're unable to find it, you can use the extension to identify the case by hovering over it, provided the input is available... It was mainly built for people who are starting with Codeforces and might encounter older problems where the example test cases aren't numbered. And, the extension just highlights the test cases already provided by the problem setter. It doesn't reveal any hidden test cases or provide any additional information...

How does it work

  • Specify the number of lines per test case.
  • Hover over any test case to highlight it and see its number.
  • Copy the original input without any extra labels or formatting.

Everything runs locally in your browser.

I'd really appreciate your feedback and suggestions... Thanks for reading, and happy coding...
