The most fraudulent Master

Revision en3, by ink65536, 2026-10-23 05:43:18

Remember CRH826's blog about weak system tests? Yes, I was the author of that O(n^2 log n) submission.

During the round, my naive brute force only survived because of a ridiculous micro-pruning that breaks if the answer is worse than a length-2 interval. It did not change the worst-case complexity at all, yet it somehow dodged all in-contest hacks in my room and slipped past the system tests.

Of course, the moment the round ended, Falashiro immediately uphacked it into oblivion:

uphack

Fortunately for me, Div.1 uphacks do not affect rating.

Even with that fake AC, I was sitting at 2189, trailing behind my coach user:fried-chicken by exactly 1 point. A fair and poetic gap.

Then the rollback happened:

  • Mike banned 19 cheaters above me.
  • My rank jumped from 187 to 168.
  • My rating reached 2198.

Dodging hacks with an O(n^2 log n) fake solution was already a meme, but surpassing my coach thanks to 19 disqualified prompt engineers is the ultimate plot twist.

Special thanks to the weak tests and the 19 disqualified accounts for the rating donation. And sincere apologies to fried-chicken for taking the lead in the most shameless way possible.
