I Was Tired of Opening 5 Tabs Every Time I Solved a Problem
Difference between en1 and en2, changed 7 character(s)
Hello everyone.↵
↵
Over the last few years, my competitive programming workflow slowly became ridiculous.↵
↵
A typical solving session looked something like this:↵
↵
- Codeforces problem page↵
- Submit page↵
- Custom Invocation page↵
- VS Code↵
- Notion / Google Docs / notebook for notes↵
- Sometimes another tab to track progress↵
↵
By the time I was actually solving the problem, half my attention was already spent switching between tabs.↵
↵
Even worse, I kept running into the same issue:↵
↵
I would solve a problem, learn something useful, promise myself I'd remember it, and then completely forget it a few weeks later.↵
↵
A clever DP transition.↵
↵
A graph observation.↵
↵
A constructive trick.↵
↵
A mistake I never wanted to repeat.↵
↵
Everything slowly disappeared into old notebooks, random documents, or my memory.↵
↵
So I
(Ayush) started building Leetify.↵
↵
Not to replace Codeforces.↵
↵
Just to make the workflow around solving problems feel better.↵

↵
A short demo and screenshots are available on the website.↵

↵
One Workspace Instead of Five Tabs↵
↵
The idea behind Leetify is simple:↵
↵
Bring everything related to solving a problem into a single place.↵
↵
Today it includes:↵
↵
* Split-screen problem solving↵
* VS Code-inspired editor↵
* One-click submissions↵
* Difficulty ratings↵
* Topic tags↵
* Dark mode↵
* Better problem-page organization↵
↵
The goal is simple:↵
↵
Spend more time solving.↵
↵
Spend less time navigating.↵
↵
Notes Directly Inside Codeforces↵
↵
This is probably the feature I’m most excited about.↵
↵
Every problem now has its own notes section.↵
↵
You can save:↵
↵
* Mistakes↵
* Observations↵
* Editorial insights↵
* DP transitions↵
* Graph tricks↵
* Revision notes↵
↵
directly alongside the problem.↵
↵
No separate notebook.↵
↵
No searching through old folders.↵
↵
No wondering where you wrote something.↵
↵
And because every note is linked to its original problem, revisiting old ideas becomes much easier.↵
↵
My Notes↵
↵
All notes are automatically collected into a dedicated section.↵
↵
Think of it as your personal competitive programming notebook.↵
↵
Over time it becomes a searchable collection of:↵
↵
* Patterns you’ve learned↵
* Mistakes you’ve made↵
* Tricks worth remembering↵
* Editorial insights worth revisiting↵
↵
Instead of solving hundreds of problems and forgetting half the lessons, you slowly build a knowledge base connected to actual practice.↵
↵
Analytics That Tell You What To Practice Next↵
↵
One thing I always felt was missing from most platforms was guidance.↵
↵
Most of us know our rating.↵
↵
Very few of us know:↵
↵
* Which topics are holding us back↵
* Which topics are already strengths↵
* What difficulty range we should practice next↵
* Whether we’re actually ready for the next rating milestone↵
↵
Leetify now includes analytics that try to answer exactly that.↵
↵
It analyzes your solve history and highlights:↵
↵
* Topic strengths↵
* Topic weaknesses↵
* Practice difficulty gaps↵
* Suggested growth areas↵
* Personalized problem recommendations↵
* Rating-readiness estimates↵
↵
The goal isn’t to tell you what to do.↵
↵
It’s to make practice more intentional.↵
↵
Looking For Feedback↵
↵
The project is still evolving quickly and many of the current features came directly from user suggestions.↵
↵
I’d love to know:↵
↵
* What part of your workflow feels most annoying today?↵
* Do you take notes while solving?↵
* What analytics would actually help you improve?↵
* What would you like to see next?↵
↵
Website:↵
↵

↵
Thanks to everyone who has tried the extension so far and shared feedback.↵
↵
Good luck in your contests :)
