How to understand problems quickly

Hello everyone I take a considerable time to understand a problem and this might take me 20 to 30 minutes. So I want to know how and what do you do to understand a given problem quickly and the way to tackle them?

There are few things to consider while reading a problem.

  1. Understanding what is required to be calculated.
  2. Focus on the constraints.
  3. Focus on the time limit.
  4. Select appropriate algorithm to solve it successfully within the specified time limit.

Generally for n=1e6- O(nlogn), O(n) is required and for n<=5e3 O(n^2) is okay. Finally after deciding all these things. Start writing your code fast and bug free.
