Invitation to CodeChef Starters 249 (Rated till 6-Stars) — 29th July

We invite you to participate in CodeChef’s Starters 249, this Wednesday, 29th July, rated for 6 stars (i.e. for users with rating < 2500).

Time: 8:00 PM — 10:30 PM IST

Note that the contest duration is unusual, being $$$150$$$ minutes.

Joining us on the problem setting panel are:

Written editorials will be available for all on discuss.codechef.com. Pro users can find the editorials directly on the problem pages after the contest. The video editorials of the problems will be available only to Pro users.

Also, if you have some original and engaging problem ideas, and you’re interested in them being used in CodeChef's contests, you can share them here.

I didn't like the problems at all. I also had issues with the servers, and seeing cheaters at the top of the standings demotivated me from continuing to solve the problems. It's strange that I can still see banned users in the standings.

P.S. The only seemingly legitimate person in the top 20 is Kude (7 stars). What's the point of the standings if they're filled with cheaters?

    Yeah, same problem, also every time i wrote some code, it resetted and showed bad gateway or Website error! The round is Rated now, this isn't fair, the contest should now be unrated!!! I think that Codechef is no longer reliable for good contests and it frequently shows server errors

I had a major issue in this contest. I could not see if my code for C got accepted or not, so i tried to upload multiple times, reload multiple times, nothing worked until half an hour passed, and i discovered the solve was accepted with multiple submissions(same happened for B also but was solved pretty quick). That whole half an hour was terrible for me as i could not focus on the next problem properly. Please, fix these issues next time. Thank you.
