Hello Everyone!!

We, Databased, the CS club at IISc, and the Dept of CSA at IISc, are excited to invite you to our upcoming event AXIOM, a competitive programming contest to be held on Codeforces! The event is proudly sponsored by Walmart Centre for Tech Excellence.

Format

The problemset will contain around 7-9 problems, each of varying difficulty. The format is similar to usual Codeforces Gym contests, ICPC style scoring with 20 minute penalty for each wrong submission. The problems will not be in any particular difficulty order, so you should attempt all the questions.

The problemset might contain interactive and communication problems, so you may need to read the guides for interactive problems and communication problems before the contest. The contest will be held on the rules of codeforces.

Please note the rule restricting AI use. If you are caught using AI, you will be disqualified from the contest.

Offline Round

The top 30 participants from the eligible institutes get a chance to visit IISc with travel support for a grand finale on 8th August. Additionally, there are 20 reserved seats for female participants who are not in the top 30. You can find the list of eligible institutes on the website.

Updates

UPD 1: Registrations close on 14^th July. The Online Prelims is on 15^th July from 8 PM.

UPD 2: The contest will be hosted on our Codeforces group. Registration on Codeforces opens 6 hours before the contest starts. Review all instructions carefully prior to the contest : Official Rulebook, OBS Setup Guide. Recordings must be submitted via the submission form after the contest.
