Hi! Today I saw some terrible, hateful, harassing comments on Codeforces, which, I believe, should get their author banned instantly. However, it turns out you can't report comments made three weeks ago, and there is no report button inside the author's profile, so really if they hadn't posted one (!) comment two days ago, I wouldn't have been able to do anything. In this particular case, I could report their last comment, but there won't always be a recent last comment.
This post, of course, is about the huge need for a report button inside profiles. But my thoughts don't stop here.
Lately, with the development of AI, the number of successful cheaters, and thus the overall number of cheaters, has increased significantly. Nowadays I see a lot more heated discussions about who cheated and who didn't than before. People throw baseless accusations on unrelated blogs, in unrelated threads, spread hate and overall act like cavemen. And let's be honest, most of these people are the ones who are affected the most — grays, greens, etc. IMO, if I were gray today, it would demotivate me a lot that a bunch of angry hateful idiots, who are obviously the most vocal people on the platform, make low-rated people look like lunatics.
I feel like something should be done, for example, untrusted accounts should be deprived of their commenting rights. And returning to the beginning — there should be a clear profile report system. I don't mean a cheater report system, that's just not the best idea, since there aren't enough people to check all the cheating reports manually. However, profile reports are a whole other story — first, it's easy to just check the latest blogs and comments, second, it can be automated with the use of AI (ironic, huh).

Unclear what makes you think a cheater report system isn't a good idea, but OK. Are you seriously satisfied with how the platform handles cheating without one?
No matter what the pipeline is, someone on CF staff has to look through everything. So all you seem to be advocating for is lightening the load through obscurity: more people getting away with things, simply because most of the community has no way to forward rightful suspicion to the correct place
(If you think about it, a lot of the baseless hate in the CF blogs comes from this very issue!)
Besides that, sure. A report button is a good idea.
There needs to be either an activity minimum (contests participated in, problems solved, whatever) or elo minimum to writing comments and blogs in order to minimize the amount of low effort shitposting but also to just force people to understand the website a little before posting content. Unless you have spent some time on the website, you should be deprived of the right to speak on it. Is that too harsh? Not in the least. When you have not probed into any problems, nor participated in the present and past contests, and know nothing of the essentials, whatever you say about it will undoubtedly be nonsense.

Comments and articles can be reported but you should downvote first.
Yes, but if already some time has passed, you can't. Example, you can try to downvote that comment, and you will see that the report button won't appear
This is the second time my blog has gotten attention for a reason other than intended bruh
I think it is important to curate a supportive community for everyone doing CF. In my past two years of code forces I have witnessed various incidents of harassing, offensive and inappropriate behavior in comments. Though most of the community is kind, and there comments are always dealt with, with the respective users getting banned, there is a clear need for a more streamlined system. Hopefully a report system can hope to remove these comments before they are seen by so many people.
Grey and green users are not always bad, I was one for most of my time on codeforces.

bro he is using my photo in his pfp and wrote so many offensive things on his profile pretending to be me and have sent countless comments and dms all about "shit" js to harass me and i am damn sure he will create a new account but even more amazing fact is that i have cheated only 2 times which was 1.5 year ago and that mf started bullying me after 2 years like bruhh what, i havent even attempted any contest in 5 month ig i have reported this to mike for using photo of a minor countless time but yeahh what more can i even do

CF desperately needs better moderation, anyone who gets disabled can just make a new account without consequence.

I can pay 1 dollar a month to not be affected. Sure the cost will build up but if you can afford Claude Fable 5 then you surely can afford to pay 1 dollar every once in a while
It's far better than the current state of bans being completely meaningless
It makes efforts to train AI off of Codeforces impractical, inconveniences cheaters/other problematic users, and doesn't affect real participants that much
